Het Veem Theater is situated in Het Veem Werkgebouw in the Van Diemenstraat 410. The entrance of the theatre can be recognized by the plexiglass covering above the entrance, and the two banners on the frontage next to the door (‘Het Veem Theater’ and ‘de Veemvloer’). The cash desk can be found on the first flour, the theatre is on the third floor. There is a lift present.
Public transportation
From Amsterdam Central Station:
City bus 48: Get off at stop ‘Barentzplein, then walk left and follow the road. On the right end of the Van Diemen Straat (before the bridge) is Het Veem Theater (Approx. 5 min walk).
City buses 18, 22: Get off at Haarlemmerplein, then walk under the railway viaduct, walk straight into the Planciusstraat. At the end of the bridge, turn left at Zoutkeetsplein and follow the curve to the Houtmankade alongside the water, at the end turn right into Van Diemen Straat. Across the road is Het Veem Theater. (Approx. 10 min walk)
From station Amsterdam Sloterdijk:
City bus 48 – towards Borneo Eiland: this bus stop is situated at Sloterdijk – La Guardiaweg.
From the city: tram 3: Get off at Zoutkeetsgracht and cross the bridge. Turn left on Zoutkeetsplein en follow the water. At the end, turn right, across the street is Het Veem Theater (About 5 min walk)

By car
Coentunnel direction (A10 west). S102 Havens West. End of exit to the right. Follow this road to the bridge on the Houtmankade. Across the street on the left is Het Veem Theater. Zeeburgertunnel (A10 east) exit S114 Zeeburg. End turn left. Through the Piet Hein tunnel, follow S100 (right) behind Central Station in the Houthavens direction. Just before the bridge (Houtmankade) on the right is Het Veem Theater.

By foot
From Amsterdam Central Station: exit north, cross the road, and then walk left along side the water. Follow this road until the end, then turn left into the Van Diemen Straat. Before the bridge at the end of the Van Diemenstraat you will find Het Veem Theater on the right, in the Het Veem building (15 minutes walk). From Haarlemmerplein: see above bus 22.

Veemstudio de Kas (The Hooded Swan nesting)
From Het Veem Theater from cross the bridge to the right into the Tasman Straat, past the traffic lights until the first street to te right appears. Turn right, this is the Stavangerweg. Immediately turn right all the way through to the water, turn left, follow the quay past the Rochedale student boat. Shortly after that, you see De Bonte Zwaan on your right hand in the water. The entrance to De Kas is to the left.
Parking
Near the theater Veem you’ll find enough parking space. From 09.00 to 00.00 it is paid parking (€2,- euro p / h).
P+R are car parks on the outskirts of Amsterdam where you can easily take public transport back into town. Within half an hour you are in the heart of town. Parking on a P+R costs €8,- per 24 hours, this includes free public transport for up to five people. At P+R Sloterdijk and Olympic Stadium you can also choose to borrow two bicycles.
